Spencer Yard
Spencer Yard is a new development which will complement the creation of a Cultural Quarter in Leamington, which includes facilities such as Jephson Gardens and the Royal Pump Rooms; Spencer Yard will do this by providing opportunities for developing support for cultural diversity, artist workspaces, training, and cultural industries.

Spencer Yard lies across the river Leam in Old Town, facing the Royal Pump Rooms, 250 metres from a 62 capacity car park, and 400 metres from Leamington Spa railway station serving the national cross country network.

  Aims of Spencer Yard

-To build the capacity of existing and established and emerging arts groups, ensuring that the Cultural Quarter is accessible to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the Old Town community.

-To support the development of new work, particularly for minority ethnic communities.

-To contribute to the regeneration and economic development of Old Town.

-For people to 'consume' and ''produce' arts.

-To provide new space for training opportunities.

-To provide new office spaces for companies.

Support of the Cultural Quarter concept has been a Warwick District Council aim since 1995.
